Scene Missing & Song Missing

As the showrunner for Scene Missing and Song Missing, I was responsible for the overall creative vision and production of these live monthly shows in Atlanta. Scene Missing featured a range of dance, comedy, burlesque, and other performances inspired by movies, while Song Missing focused on creating performances based on the work of a specific musician each month.

One of the key challenges of my role was to create a unique and engaging experience for our audience each month, while working within a limited budget and timeframe. To do this, I built a solid network of performers in the comedy, dance, illustration, and performance communities, and worked closely with them to develop and refine their ideas. I also commissioned promotional artwork and designed the ad campaigns, using my skills in graphic design to create visually striking and effective materials.

Over the six years that Scene Missing and Song Missing ran, these shows consistently sold out and were featured on multiple "Best of" lists. This success was due in large part to my ability to cultivate and nurture a vibrant and talented community of performers, and to create engaging and dynamic experiences that resonated with our audience.
